Our core competence is the development of equipment for front cooking, point of sales and merchandising. We supply supermarkets and department stores, quick service restaurants, full service catering, traffic catering, hotels, event and stadium catering and company restaurants worldwide.

For these target groups, UBERT supplies the equipment as well as turnkey concepts, accompanied by extraordinary services that are exemplary in the industry. This includes customer-specific concept developments, visualizations of your object, design and installation plans – without interfaces. Catering technology and interior design with assembly, training, instruction and after-sales service – all from a single source.


Since the beginning of the fast food wave, the company has been a pioneer and has had a significant impact on the industry. The innovative developments such as curry sausage slicer, snack units with seamless cover, rotisseries with the combined heating method of infrared and convection in one unit, identical as well as identical cold and hot showcases, innovative planetary gear for rotisseries, deli counters made in Germany and, last but not least, RoFry® – the revolutionary frying system, have become fixed components in gastronomy concepts. Our management team recognizes trends at an early stage in order to realize the products of tomorrow.

The technical change and the dynamic change in the market require an intensive and regular training of the employees. The long-term retention of competent employees is part of the company’s strategy.

Our History


Harald and Margitta Ubert founded the company as a trading company for catering equipment. The company founders were supported by a salaried employee.

Production launch

With six skilled employees, the first catering equipment was manufactured in Raesfeld from 1966 onwards. Mainly gas-heated deep fryers, roasting and grilling appliances.

The company is thus a pioneer in the industry and has decisively shaped the market with numerous inventions.


Two years later, since 1968, UBERT was the first company nationally to realise gastronomy turnkey projects.

Since then, the scope of services has included gastronomy equipment including shopfitting. Two creative interior designers made it possible, without interfaces, deliveries and services “all from one source”.


Uncompromising manufacturing quality

as well as the consistent orientation towards customer wishes and market requirements, allowed the company to grow into a reliable partner for numerous, well-known companies in the following years.

Today, around 170 motivated employees work in 3 production plants and continue to surprise the market with new ideas and inventions.

In addition, exclusive sales partners distribute the innovative products worldwide. UBERT products are in daily use in over 80 countries, providing people with good food and drinks.
