UBERT equips spectacular company catering

UBERT GASTROTECHNIK manufactured and supplied the complete serving area for the company catering of the EY branch in the SkyLoop at Stuttgart Airport. The catering facilities as a whole consist of a restaurant, café bar, conference area, auditorium and guest area for up to 2,000 employees.

The state-of-the-art employee restaurant, which is divided into four large themed areas, seats over 400 customers. With a total of over 2,000 gastronomic square feet, customers will find an extensive food offering with live cooking from regional cuisine, pizza and pasta to salads and grills.

The development of the gastronomic offer focused on the themes of freshness and variety. There was also a requirement that as much homemade produce as possible be offered.
What makes the gastronomy particularly appealing to the visitor is the fact that the technical equipment has been integrated in a special way into the extraordinary interior design.

In this extraordinary project, the company UBERT has manufactured, delivered and installed the serving counters with a total length of more than 85 meters, which are spatially distributed on three levels as well as on the different thematic areas. They are divided into output lines, partly elaborated in a curved form, and individual island solutions. For this purpose, UBERT supplied numerous back areas, shelving and rinsing systems as well as production areas, some of which were installed distributed over five levels. UBERT supplied all this from one source.

The special challenge for UBERT was the demanding cooperation with designers and architects of the project. The modules manufactured by UBERT fit perfectly into the overall concept of the house in terms of shape, material and design and complete the concept in terms of function and design.
